After extensive trialling, Auckland Drum has adopted Biodiesel derived from waste fats and vegetable oils for diesel applications. Truck drivers and equipment operators reported comparable equipment performance.

Environmental Manager Tegan Brown says "Using biodiesel allows ADSS to supply their customers with a more environmentally sustainable product.  The conversion of equipment and trucks to 80% biodiesel is an excellent move to decrease the company's greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint.  This is all in keeping with the company ethos of continually striving to be more sustainable."

Overall the team at ADSS are very pleased with the outcome of another project focused on environmental improvement and sustainability.
